BEST OF 2024 – My Favorite Creations

The year 2024 is slowly coming to an end. And what a year it has been—both on a personal level and as a content creator. This year, I accomplished many things, including successfully completing my bachelor’s degree. Despite many dark days and moments when dark thoughts haunted me, there was one thing that consistently brought me joy and remained a beautiful constant in my life: creating custom content for you and, of course, for myself. It’s so much fun to create things that I feel are missing. This year, I’ve learned many new things, improved my own skills and also helped some of you get started as CC creators.

With the resources available to me, it has always been my goal to help others and do good. This year, for the first time, I was able to save a personally significant amount of money thanks to my work as a content creator, and donate it to children in need. Children are our future, yet sadly, not every child has the privilege of growing up in a safe and healthy environment. Every time I become aware of this, a cold shiver runs down my spine. A dreadful thought. Therefore, it makes me even prouder that I can do good with my work.

For the future, I aim to continue doing good and working hard so I can help others—even more with each passing year. A big THANK YOU to each and everyone of you that supports my work. Whether it’s direct financial support, a like, or a kind comment—I deeply value every interaction.

This year, I was able to create over 140 package files for our favorite game. Even though I certainly like all my creations as they are, there are a few personal favorites that stand out for me. In this post, I’d like to share my favorite creations of this year! If you want to take a look at all my other CC, you can do it HERE.

TASHA SET

The Tasha Set is something a bit more unusual compared to the rest of my content. I released this set in February, and even today, the preview picture still amazes me. I just love it so much. I often use the coats for my elegant Sims as cold weather wear. In my eyes, it’s definitely a timeless set that I will still appreciate in the years to come.

NICKI SLEEPSACK

I received the request to create a sleep sack for infants quite a long time ago. However, I didn’t tackle it at first because I was unsure how to approach this type of asset, because we never had something like this in the game (and we still don’t have it). But one day, I decided to give it a try, and I think it turned out really cute—especially with all the different patterns. By the way, the name of the set was inspired by the person who originally requested the sleeping bag!

RUBY & RUBEN SET

I will always associate the RUBY & RUBEN set with the time I visited my family and, filled with new energy after my vacation, created this set. It’s not a particularly special set, but in my eyes, everything about it turned out really well—the meshes, the texture quality, and the amazing swatches. Many might not understand, but I love it.

SANDPIT BESTIES

Oh, the Sandpit Besties Set, created in collaboration with my beloved Ravensim, was of course an absolute highlight of this year. She asked me if I’d be interested in doing something together again, like we did the year before, and after some brainstorming sessions, this set came to life. A masterpiece!

DAKOTA – GRAPHIC TEE’S

I remember one evening when my sister, my best friend, and I were sitting in Discord for hours, working on the perfect graphics for this set. It was absolutely crazy, but so much fun, and the result is definitely worth it! 100 swatches each for kids, toddlers, and infants—it was a big project.

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY – infant set

This set is, in my opinion, highly underrated. I find it super adorable and would love to dress every one of my infants in this outfit. I also think the preview picture turned out really well. Definitely check out this set and take a look at the swatches! It’s not just suitable for birthdays!

SPLASH ZONE – toddler set

The SPLASH ZONE set started with a swimsuit, but it spiraled into something bigger when I suddenly had so many more ideas, which eventually turned into a large set. My absolute favorite asset here is the swimsuit with stripes and the little wings on the legs. Super adorable!

KATRINA SET

The preview picture for the Katrina set is so pleasant to look at color-wise. The pastel two-piece holds a special place in my heart because I find pastel colors absolutely beautiful. The set itself looks super cozy, and I’m sure your infants will find it enchanting too.

SIMBLREEN ’24

The annual Simblreen set, which I’ve been releasing every year since 2021, was a bit chaotic this year. Because I had so much on my mind with the start of my master’s degree, I completely forgot to create anything for Simblreen. But with the help of my sister, who supported me again this year with the beautiful face paintings, we managed to create an insanely cool Simblreen set within just a few days—what I think might actually be the best one so far.

BLOSSOM HUGS – infant set

For BLOSSOM HUGS, I created a new pacifier, which is always a rather time-intensive project for me. But when the timing works out, I love diving into 3D-modeling from scratch, and I hope I can do much more of that next year. The outfit is also stunning—I adore every single swatch.

SLEEP TIGHT – kids set

The creation of the SLEEP TIGHT set was such a big coincidence. The original idea was to design the sweater with bows as everyday wear. Around the same time, a member of my community requested a pyjama set. And then, one thing led to another, and I ended up turning everything into a sleepwear set! The inspiration behind it was pyjamas I wore as a child. It turned out to be such a lovely set!

HOLIDAY SPIRIT – toddler set

And my final favorite is actually the last set of this year. I think the reason I love this set so much is because of how simple it is. And because I modeled the beautiful heart pendant myself again. The swatches for the necklace turned out so lovely as well. I tried to represent real gemstones and I think it turned out pretty good.
